The DMV approved Pre-Licensing Education 6-hour course is offered through Zoom conferencing. Our schedule provides you the flexibility to attend a 6 hour class on a weekend day or two 3-hour classes during the weeknights.

If you are looking for individualized instruction that is either face-to-face or through the videoconferencing application Zoom, then schedule your one-on-one instruction for your pre-licensing education class.
Step 3: Successfully Pass the Test Administered by the DMV
Used Dealer Test Administered by DMV
- You will schedule to take the 40-question in-person dealer exam when you apply for the dealer license in STEP 2.
- The Department of Motor Vehicles Occupational Licensing Section has 14 Occupational Licensing (OL) inspector offices and 2 designated service locations (DSLs) located throughout California where you can take the exam. To view the DMV OL inspector test office locations list click HERE.
- Each applicant may make 3 attempts to pass the test. If an applicant fails the test, they must pay a $16 fee and wait one week to re-test. After the third attempt, if the applicant does not pass, they must take the dealer education program again and the testing process starts over with another 3 attempts.
